Headshots & Personal Branding
Chana Mirel is a patient headshot photographer serving Columbia, MD professionals from her private Baltimore-area studio. Sessions stay relaxed and guided, from outfit planning to the final retouched image.
The session
I start with a quick conversation about what you're updating. LinkedIn? A speaker bio? A new company website? Your industry matters too — a hedge fund headshot and a yoga teacher headshot shouldn't look the same. I style from there.
You'll walk out with three to six final retouched headshots, plus a couple of half-body options if you want them. Turnaround is about a week.
Branding sessions
Personal branding is the longer format. Not just a headshot against a backdrop, but lifestyle portraits of you at a desk, with a laptop, holding a book, or working with a client. Coaches, authors, entrepreneurs — anyone who needs more than a square avatar.
These run longer. We talk through location, props, and wardrobe before you show up. I like to have a shot list so we're not figuring it out on the fly.
